Types in hyena

There are four types of hyenas that are recognized:

Aardwolf: Although it is part of the hyena family, the aardwolf is different from the other hyena species in that it primarily eats termites instead of hunting or scavenging. They are found in eastern and southern Africa and are the smallest of the hyena species.
